Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These Terms govern your use of IronRecord, a service operated by Resolute Media LLC (“IronRecord,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use IronRecord.

Not legal advice

IronRecord is a tool for documenting incidents and organizing evidence. It is not a law firm, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. The guides, deadline calculations, and reports it produces are general information, not legal advice, and may not fit your specific situation. Filing deadlines are estimates based on general rules and can vary — do not rely on them as a substitute for professional counsel. For advice about your case, consult a licensed civil rights attorney.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use IronRecord. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

The records, files, and information you put into IronRecord are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, store, process, and display that content back to you and to anyone you deliberately share it with — that’s it. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the right to upload it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful;
  • Use IronRecord to harass, defame, or endanger anyone;
  • Attempt to access other users’ records or accounts;
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or circumvent its security;
  • Resell or redistribute the service except under an organization license we provide.

Subscriptions and billing

IronRecord offers a free tier and a paid Premium plan ($3.99/month or $29.99/year). Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account’s billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change.

Free tier limits

The free tier includes a limited number of incidents and a storage cap. Premium raises those limits and unlocks additional features. We may adjust tier limits over time; if we reduce them materially, we’ll give notice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep IronRecord available and reliable, but we provide the service “as is” and can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IronRecord and Resolute Media LLC disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost data, missed deadline, or legal outcome. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

Termination

You can stop using IronRecord and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms. Before deleting your account, export or download anything you want to keep — deletion is permanent.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use IronRecord after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
